In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through some helpful exercises you can do to help you get up off the floor if you ever experience a fall with no one around to help you get back up.

Falling is a common occurrence that happens especially amongst older adults. An unexpected fall can cause physical injury as well as mental and emotional challenges. Getting up from the floor with no help is also difficult especially if you have physical limitations or limited mobility.

The movements in this video will help you build strength and balance both of which are crucial to being able to lift yourself up if you are on the ground.

Remember to preview this video before attempting these exercises. Only do movements that you are comfortable with and never force anything that causes pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by, take breaks when you need to and have a great workout!
